A Victorian Reimagined Receives Two 2017 Remodeling Design Awards

Hill & Hurtt Architects is pleased to share that A Victorian Reimagined has received two awards in the 2017 Remodeling Design Awards.

Selected from 185 entries, the project was one of 13 recognized by the competition’s jury receiving a Merit Award for Historically-Sensitive Renovation.

“By preserving period details and opening up this 1895 Washington, D.C., rowhouse to the exterior, architect Joshua Hill was able to give his clients the bright interior they craved while paying homage to the home’s traditional style,” the jury commented.

The project was later selected by Remodeling Magazine readers as the 2017 Readers’ Choice Award winner.
