Cleveland Park Bungalow Construction Tour with Best Address
We’re excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at our upcoming remodel and addition in DC’s Cleveland Park neighborhood. Principal Mary-Margaret Stacy joined Joe Himali of Best Address to tour the 1922 Sears “Walton” model bungalow currently under construction.
During the tour, Mary-Margaret discusses what made these kit homes so unique, including the cottage-style windows, truncated columns, and lumber that arrived both pre-cut and numbered to help with construction.
The renovation will rearrange the original single-floor plan, adding living space and a new rooftop addition with two bedrooms and two full baths. A relocated central stair will also bring more light into the middle of the home and allow for a new, larger kitchen to fit within the original footprint. We’re looking forward to sharing more updates as construction progresses.
