The Washington Post Features Net Zero Chevy Chase Bungalow

We’re excited to share that The Washington Post has featured our Net-Zero Chevy Chase Bungalow project in its Real Estate section.

The article explores the whole-house renovation and rear addition to the 1917 home which was designed to meet standards for both net-zero energy and Indoor airPlus.

The 5,000-square-foot home combines roof-mounted solar panels with triple-glazed windows and doors, increased thermal insulation, high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, and Energy Star lighting and appliances. It's forecasted to use less than half the energy of a new home built to code requirements.
